Tray Line
A trayline is often customized for the customer. Mush Comb is able to make 3D engineering drawings to come to a suitable solution.

A trayline can be used for different purposes:
- Filling compost in trays
- Filling casing in trays
- Filling compost + casing in trays
- Emptying trays
- Emptying + cleaning trays
The picture below is from a trayline suitable for filling compost.

Description:
As you can see on the picture, the trays move under a filling section with help of a transport chain. The line starts with a de-stacking unit. The forklift can place 4 trays with plastic in this area.
The line will notice that the trays are placed and will automatically start moving the trays over the chain toward the filling unit. In the whole line there are placed sensors to notice the process of the machine and for safety reasons of the staff.
The filling unit contains a swivel belt and a special drum. The filling section contains height sensors to ensure that you will always get an even fill of your trays. The swivel belt of the filling unit needs to be supplied with compost through for example a conveyor where staff members drop the compost on. The 3-layer pvc belt drops the compost in the trays. Then the tray moves to the hydraulic pressure platform. On this spot the compost will be pressed to the required height. After pressing the tray moves to the stacking area. A hydraulic cylinder makes sure the trays are safely put on 4-high. Then the forklift driver can pick up the 4 compost trays.
The line is completely PLC and Frequency controlled, this means the line detects all the actions it should take. This can be that it detects that there is too less compost in the bunker to fill the trays, or that it detects that there are 4 trays piled up and it waits until they are removed with the fork lift.
To give a idea of the dimensions like it is set up now: Length x Width: 12m x 2,5m.
